It does NOT sit flat so while no oven will be an issue

It is usable on glass but not recommended

The 699 p/n is what was eventually used in the 1920‘s when the famous Slant style logo was created

For reference, besides the one we have for our set, this is the only other one we have made available. This came from a large collection of Griswold, including an entire set of Victors. We LOVE the Griswold line of Victor skillets for so many reasons! The fully marked version you see here was made in 5 through 9, with the 5 being almost impossible to find, and the 6 not far behind. They handle
