Japanese ceramic artists, using techniques handed down through the centuries, create these unusual and uniquely Japanese pieces. A multi process glazing gives a beautiful translucent finish to the deep blue, and a textured "volcanic rock" finish to the charcoal colored areas on each piece. Also shown with three piece set.
