The hare was carved in lino and then using brown vegetable oil based inks is individually hand printed at our home on the Islay of Islay

Each individual print is completely unique with natural variations from the hand burnishing process

Abundant on road verges as well as dry sunny slopes

It lives up to its name, inhabiting the moorland bogs of the Oa here on Islay and can cause photosensitivity if grazed by sheep. This Bog Asphodel was sketched on a quiet Oa roadside near our home.
