They are made with an alternative down filling that is hypoallergenic and cruelty free. The 100% polyester fiber filling used in our inserts has more weight than a traditional polyester pillow and is similar to the weight of genuine down pillows. Like natural down, our ultra soft inserts have the traditional karate chop look. Unlike other polyester inserts, ours use a slick
