This is a classic heavily peated Islay whisky, thick with peat smoke and medicinal (old first aid kit) character. The distinctive nuttyness of Bunnahabhain comes through, with roasted peanuts joining salted caramel and malt biscuit sweetness. This single cask was bottled exclusively for New Zealand.
