Philip Lardot, Schiefer Riesling 2022 Salcheto smoked fish or shellfish -Schiefer 'Slate' is a blend of Riesling from multiple sites, from the estate's own vineyard and from a local grower. Each of these plots holds vines aged over 30 years and have burrowed their way down into the rich pure grey and blue slate soils, inspiring the name and mineral edge to this wine. Upon this stone foundation, expect notes of yellow nectarine, granny smith apple, melon, as well as honeysuckle.
