Unmolested ribbed alloy foot. The tensioner functions perfectly throughout its range. Both pawls and springs are in fine condition. The spare spool appears to be a later fabricated replacement and fits the reel perfectly. Great sized Perfect with lots of capacity that needs to go fishing again! The prior owner flipped the pawl and the reel functions nicely
