Autograph letter in German signed by him, dated 1910, written on a postcard to his friend and President of the Swiss Confederation Ernst Brenner, starting by quoting the second stanza of Schillers lyrics for Beethovens An die Freunde and commenting how exultant and dear is that music to him.
