It allowed the addition of the inquisitive boys to almost touch the massive Lancaster and assist in the intensity of the last light of the day through contrast of light to dark

This gave me all the required perspective

Used extensively as a suicide aircraft towards the end of the Second World War as a desperate attempt to turn the war in their favour, many were shot down.
