AKAL Chai Rum cranberry The Balcones Distillery in WacoThe First Limited Reserve Botanical rum made in the Caribbean This rum won an award from the Government of Trinidad & Tobago for innovation . It is recognized as the first new production process in rum in almost a century and is only the second recognized Trade secret process in Trinidad since Don Carlos Seigert's Angostura Bitters in the 1800's. Two types of high altitude tea and over 15 tropical aromatic flowers are used to make the only "Chai rum"
