Blue vase, feathery texture sold and made from recycled clayThis somewhat wonky vase was growing on me while I carved the whimsical feathery patterns into the surface. Then it became one of my favorites when it came out of the glaze kiln. The wavy glaze border leaves some of the dark brown clay and graceful texture unglazed. Glaze is a combination of mottled light greens, blues and browns which draw the eye to the carved texture. Approximately: 5" tall, 4. 5" shoulder diameter, 3. 1" rim diameter; 1. 25 lbs.
