The piece appears to be late 18th to early 19th century; but based on the style, look and feel, it may be several centuries older. The statue depicts Siddhartha Gautama at birth, standing on a lotus flower base with one hand pointing up and the other down. Crafted from cast bronze, this Buddha is in excellent structural condition
