SOLD - Antique Malayer Persian Rug, 4x6 indigo ready to grace its nextSOLD A genuine, antique, hand knotted, Persian rug adds color, warmth and sophistication to complement any decor style. This rug was diligently hand knotted, c. 1930's, near the town of Malayer, Iran. The color variation in this rug provides a wonderful example of 'abrash'. Abrash occurs when the weavers used multiple batches of vegetable dyed wool. Originally, the batches matched one another in color. However, over time, the dyes from the different
