Lapponia 18 Karat Gold Ring with Munsteiner Cut Agate probably originalThis ring is a modern masterpiece created by two 20th century masters, Bjorn Weckstrom of Lapponia and Bernd Munsteiner. Bernd Munsteiner (1943 ) is a revolutionary in the world of gem cutting and invented what is known as the fantasy cut, non traditional cuts made on gemstones. He is responsible for the stunning cut of the banded agate (sardonyx) featured in this ring. I've included a photo of the ring next to a photo of a similar agate sculpture
