Mélodie en Sous-sol 2013 2015 the grape local to FrontonFrom Chenin vines (around 45 years old) grown on the schist terroir of Rablay sur Layon, with vinification and ageing in vats. The grapes for Mlodie en Sous Sol are picked after those for Coule de Source and Un Brin Gourmand. The ripeness of the grapes and the minerality of the schist terroir give tension and balance to the wine: a full bodied, vibrant Chenin, frank and complex with a typical fine bitterness.
