Fecal impaction (persistent constipation with accumulation of faeces in the rectum and or colon). Adults, adolescents > 12 years and the elderly Chronic constipation 1 to 3 sachets per day, in separate doses. Prolonged use: 1 or 2 sachets per day. Faecal impaction 8 sachets a day, to be taken over 6 hours. Drink an extra 1 litre of liquid a day. Duration of treatment: normally no
