Midrange strategies can play Lumra as a potent six mana threat that incidentally provides them with plenty more lands to help fuel their one-for-one trades and slowly accrued advantages, creating a situation where creature lands might be the only real win condition they need if Lumra gets answered
The most obvious of these factors is the synergy of haste with Saproling Burst, which was known to some as "The Fix." That extra turn almost doubled the strength of the Burst and made it hit for the full 20 damage in only two turns, which would normally mean a kill on turn five, or turn four if backed up by a Blastoderm
The effect is only during that player's turn, but that leaves everyone needing to cast their spells slowly instead of being able to play as many as they want
Of note, Sagas aren't included in the extended-art treatment as their art doesn't allow for the extended-art treatment
