This creates a bit of a lock, especially if an opponent can't risk losing their land
TLA/TLE is full of lessons, and a simple curve of Fire Nation Cadets into Iroh's Demonstration lets you chain together spells very early in the game
There have been some that have struggled (the UR Izzet Battle Blitz deck in particular never seems to work) and a couple that have felt a little overpowered (the 8-2 UG Plow the Sands deck), but each has offered a very solid experience
