Effect Veiler is also a generically good card and I didnt want to get caught with no easy outs to Trishula in this deck because its not always possible to have a Kumongous on your side of the field to negate Trishula and its almost impossible to exhaust your hand to prevent Trishulas effect due to the nature of the Kaijus
The first one to three prize cards ultimately takes the match
While an additional card draw in the upkeep is always nice to have, it means that its caster will have slightly fewer turns to survive than the rest of the board before decking out
The Soul Stone This is the really BIG money card of the set, and WotC knows it
This shouldn't be playable in anything but the blackest of Black decks, and even then, the mana restrictions should almost make this an afterthought (barring Superior Spider-Man tricks)
With the more complex designs, it is a good idea to start with the big parts first and leave the faces and intricate details for later
