I think this disruptiveness is a key counter-play to control, and a healthy balance to decks that overwhelm opponents with card advantage

I dont hate this

The ability is versatile, in that you can use it for politics to buff a creature an opponent would attack with anyway or use the ability to goad your target

I adore the Caesar's power, and he's in the color for red of haste enablers like Anger or Hammer of Purphoros to attack with him after resolving to get that trigger on the turn you play him

This fits go-wide decks very much, considering that you want many creatures to get past your opponents defenses, and with this bonus, even a mere 1/1 can become a threat
